The OPTA trade fair is the only opportunity in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to present and see innovations in the fields of ophthalmic optics, optometry and ophthalmology on a world-class level, and is rightfully one of the most important presentations in Central Europe.
It is not only a showcase of the latest spectacle frames, spectacle and contact lenses or technological devices, but also serves as a centre of education. In 2025, the OPTA FORUM's professional supporting programme will focus on the issue of Vision in the Digital Age. There will also be an exhibition of contemporary eyewear design.
There is also the annual TOP OPTA competition for the best exhibits and the traditional OPTA Party as a culmination of personal meetings throughout the trade fair.
