Horses at the National Livestock Show 2025
October 25, 2024 / 10:03 AM
A large part of the National Livestock Show is traditionally dedicated to horses. In the upcoming edition, more than a hundred of them will visit the exhibition centre again and will show themselves in demonstrations both under saddle and in the barrage or at liberty.
A variety of breeds will be presented, from miniature horses to massive cold-blooded horses, there will be typical Czech breeds, but also British, Portuguese, Arab or American breeds. As far as riding styles are concerned, both classic lovers and fans of western riding, wrestling or working disciplines will find something for themselves.
The main arena in Hall F will once again host show performances, breeding shows and demonstration competitions. In the round pen, visitors will enjoy commented training demonstrations as well as detailed breed introductions, communication games and horse rides for children.
There will also be an outdoor arena with a mountain trail and trail presentation. As always, the horse show will be complemented by presentations of breeding sports clubs and an offer of equestrian equipment and accessories sellers.
