We are a group of textile artists from around the world who express their art through individual approaches to textiles. As a collective of artists, we vary in both our experience and in the nature of expression in our art - from surface design and mixed media to stitching both hand and machine.

We work to a common often abstract, theme and a defined size; the theme for this exhibition being 'Alchemy'. Our work broadly encompasses the understanding of a quilt in its loosest form.
Group members are: Pat Archibald (Scotland), Uta Lenk (Germany), Jean Marshall (U.K.), Ildiko Polyak (Hungary), Paula Rafferty (Ireland), Shoshi Rimer (Israel) Morven Roche (Scotland), Gillian Travis (U.K.).
About the series we exhibit
Alchemy: Transforming Fabric into Art
As members of Voyage, an international collective of art quilters, we are constantly exploring the boundaries of textile art. Our latest collection, Alchemy, delves into the ancient practice of transformation, where base materials are magically altered into something extraordinary. In this collection, we channel the essence of alchemy, using fabric as our base material and infusing it with creativity, emotion, and skill to create works that transcend the ordinary. Each quilt is a journey - a voyage - through the mystical process of creation, where threads, textures, and colors meld to evoke the transformation from the mundane to the sublime. We invite you to explore these metamorphic pieces, where art and fabric are interwoven to reveal the magic within.
