From April 25 to 27, 2025, Brno will once again become the European centre of artistic textile creation. The 17th edition of the international exhibition will take place in the historic Hall A1 of the Brno Exhibition Center, featuring nearly 30 galleries of individual artists and artistic groups. The exhibited works will captivate visitors with a variety of techniques – from classic patchwork to modern wall hangings and original at quilts.

163 exhibitors from 12 countries brought their latest collections of clothing, footwear, handbags and accessories to be offered to retailers. Over 3 thousand visitors, including guests from the fashion industry, media and show business, visited the fashion trade fair over the three days. A total of 380 brands were presented at the Exhibition Centre, and 40 per cent of the exhibitors came from abroad.

The IDET International Defence and Security Technologies Fair will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 28 to 30 May 2025, after a two-year interval. Technological innovations were presented at the Brno Exhibition Centre by 1,386 exhibiting companies from 42 countries around the world. During four days of the expo, their stands were seen by more than 55 thousand visitors, mainly technicians and businesspeople who need to introduce innovation into practice rather quickly. 

SOTEX GINETEX CZ is a member of the international GINETEX association and, through this membership, enables Czech companies to use care symbols and the CLEVERCARE label. It grants members a unique license to use care symbols on garment labels. SOTEX is the owner of the only quality label for textiles in the Czech Republic – QZ (Guaranteed Quality), which is part of the Czech government's Czech Quality program. SOTEX advises Czech companies on how to correctly label products in compliance with applicable legislation and ensures the integrity of care symbols so they are not misused or distorted, thus preventing breaks in the information chain. SOTEX currently has nearly 900 member companies.

At this year's URBIS trade fair, we will also welcome representatives from Bavaria, who will present innovative products and services in the field of urban mobility, digitalization and sustainability. Their stand will include several lectures focused on smart solutions for cities and municipalities. Their representatives will also be part of the main panel discussion blocks.
