The Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague (FEE CTU) will participate in the prestigious international defense and security technology fair IDET in Brno. From May 28 to 30, 2025, it will showcase technologies developed in cooperation with the Czech Army, industrial partners, and within international NATO projects. Visitors can look forward to robotic systems, sensors, simulation tools, and educational programs that enhance the capacity of states and companies to face modern security threats.

At the IDET trade fair, Brno University of Technology will present 9 exhibits at its stand (Pavilion P, stand no. 18), which are the result of university research and development. Among the two most significant exhibits are undoubtedly the Autonomous Swarm of Robots and Drones for Remote Reconnaissance and the Mobile System MOBiSchield.

This year, on the very first day of the IDET trade fair (May 28 at 2:00 PM), the Brno University of Technology (BUT) will officially present a new project at its booth: “Autonomous Swarm of Robots and Drones for Remote Reconnaissance.” The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be attended by BUT Rector Ladislav Janíček, University of Defence (UNOB) Rector-Commander Jan Farlík, project leader Petr Marcoň from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC BUT), along with other distinguished guests.

At this year's IDET 2025 International Defence and Security Technologies Fair, companies from the CSG Group, which is also the general partner of the fair, will traditionally present the world premiere of the Pandur 8x8 EVO combat vehicle and the latest generation of military Tatra trucks. In addition to Tatra Export, representing Tatra Trucks, the results of CSG's development and production as well as its services and projects will be presented at the fair by Tatra Defence Vehicle, Excalibur Army, Retia, Eldis, Pocket Virtuality, MSM Group, Karbox, Excalibur International, Kinetic Group and Fiocchi Munizioni.

Blades s.r.o. was founded in 2023 as a start-up focused on the development and production of professional self-defense training tools. The first product, which will be presented at the IDET 2025 exhibition, is SHOCKBLADE — an electric training knife designed for self-defense training against edged weapon attacks.

3D printing is a strategic technology in the development and production of advanced weapons, drones and military technology. Its specific applications will be presented at the international conference 3D-ARMY, which will take place on 29 May at the IDET trade fair under the auspices of the Association of the Defence and Security Industry of the Czech Republic.
