The BDSV represents the interests of the entire German Security and Defence Industry at both the national and international level. Its work aims to preserve the competitiveness and viability of the German Security and Defence Industry.
The BDSV consists of more than 100 members, which are globally operating companies and highly innovative SMEs. Both are privately held and profit-oriented.
The BDSV is a point of contact for the parliament, the Federal Government as well as for ministries. Moreover, the BDSV maintains relations to other associations, the media and relevant NGOs.
