The Czech National Exposition in Hall P was opened by a speech of the Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Síkela, who appreciated the significant role of MSV in supporting Czech companies. Visiting this year's Czech National Exposition in his view can be for many entrepreneurs the beginning of their export story.

The 64^th International Engineering Fair (MSV Brno) will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 10 to 13 October 2023. Tens of thousands of visitors will learn about industrial technologies and innovations presented by exhibitors from all over the world. Specialised fairs TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS and ENVITECH will also be held concurrently with MSV.

It is one of the most notable events of its kind in the Czech Republic and has its own unmistakable atmosphere. On an area of 18 thousand square meters, it offers every year a complete parade of motorhomes and caravans, including accessories and equipment, in short, everything that is needed for independent travel. This is also the reason why almost 25 thousand visitors interested in travelling and camping come here every autumn. This year's twentieth jubilee edition will be even bigger than the previous ones, featuring one extra hall focusing on outdoor adventures.

The Smurfs built a huge adventure park, a Smurf Village, a LEGO playroom, a swimming pool with boats and more than 40 other attractions at the Brno Exhibition Grounds.

In total, over 7 000 sqm of fun and adventure. And it all stays in Brno until Christmas!

This year's edition of the STYL and KABO trade fairs was traditionally in the spirit of the latest collections of clothing, footwear, handbags, and accessories. Over 150 exhibitors from 15 countries came to the Brno Exhibition Centre.

The TECHAGRO International Fair of Agricultural Machinery was first held in 1994 and quickly established itself as the most important industry event in Central Europe. It is a biennial fair focused exclusively on crop production, while animal husbandry technologies are presented at ANIMAL TECH in Brno in odd-numbered years.

The selection committee consisting of shareholder representatives, i.e. members of the statutory city council of Brno, members of the board of directors of the Veletrhy Brno joint-stock company and a representative of the company's trade union finished the selection process on Friday 28 July 2023 to fill the position of the company's general director.

Mr. Jan Kubata, who asserted himself in the competition of three dozen applicants, has become the new CEO. When making their decision, the commission considered Kubata’s visions, opinions and attitudes with regards to the company’s next five years. Mr. Jan Kubata will lead the company Veletrhy Brno, a.s., from 1st October 2023.

The ANIMAL TECH International Fair for Animal Production, the National Show of Livestock and the National Gamekeeping Show took place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 22 to 26 April 2023. The exhibition centre hosted 236 exhibitors from 8 countries. Almost 50,000 people passed through the gates of the exhibition centre. Visitors could see almost one thousand farm animals that took part in national championships, competitions and breeders' shows. The events were located in Halls P, F, G1 and the surrounding outdoor areas, with Hall G2 also being used over the weekend. Most visitors came to the exhibition centre on Sundays, all weekdays were also very well attended. The fairs had an international overlap, with the world meeting of Charolais breeders taking place at the showground, the championships being judged by foreign judges and visitors coming from neighbouring countries.

One of the most important sectoral events for the woodworking and furniture industry is back to the Brno Exhibition Centre. From 10 to 13 October, the WOODTEC International Fair for Woodworking and Furniture Industry will take place.
