The PRODÍTĚ trade 2024 offered everything needed for children and parents
March 6, 2024 / 7:33 AM
From February 29 to March 2, Brno Exhibition Centre hosted the eighteenth edition of the ProDítě trade. The largest contracting and sales fair in the Czech and Slovak Republic offered, in addition to the vendors themselves, a varied accompanying programme. Approximately 8 thousand B2B and B2C visitors visited the fair over three days.
The fair featured products from manufacturers and sellers of baby and children's goods, both Czech and foreign brands. Visitors could choose between many strollers, car seats, toys, children's clothing, clothing for pregnant and nursing women, cosmetics, healthy food for children and other goods.
Traditionally, many exhibitors introduced new products for this year, including the Thule Urban Glide 3 stroller and the Inglesina Aptica XT stroller with adaptive suspension from Kenyo. Not only new products, but also tried and tested and very popular products were also brought by Baby holding - the Sophie giraffe made of rubber is already sold in 85 countries. A large and popular addition this year was the expansive LEGO® play area filled with bricks and 3D statue models.
In addition to the public, the fair was attended by numerous store owners and buyers of children's goods.
Entertainment and Education for All Ages
The ProChild fair was also associated with a rich accompanying programme, which took place throughout the fair directly on the stage in Hall V, where entertainment performances and expert lectures alternated. Michal Nesvadba attracted the most spectators with his performance, but the children also liked the balloon king and thoroughly enjoyed the carnival in costumes for prizes.
Parents attended lectures on first aid for children, proper dental care for kids, and consultations with physiotherapists and psychologists at the parent counseling area. There were also demonstrations of infant breathing monitors and talks on “Mental Health During Pregnancy” and “Doula Support During Birth” for expectant mothers.
Parents appreciated the babysitting service for children from 3 years of age in the children's corner, the nursing corner with the possibility of warming food and the toddler zone, where the very popular toddler races were held several times.
The next edition of ProDítě trade will take place from 6 to 8 March 2025.

“We had a great turnout. Many mothers visited the fair, checked things out, walked around, and then returned. We are satisfied and will be back next year.”
Andys Petra
Solnická, Sales Manager
“We were very pleased with this year’s attendance, which was surprisingly high despite the shorter duration. On our behalf, we are very satisfied, thank you to BVV Trade Fairs Brno. Participation in next year's edition looks very promising.

Ladislav Pavlík
“We received positive feedback. The attendance was very decent, the products were liked, so we are satisfied with this year’s fair. It was comparable to last year.”
Kenyo
Kamil Bojanovský, Sales Representative
“We are focused on corporate customers, so we mainly attended to make contracts, and we were satisfied with the turnout of traders from Slovakia and across the Czech Republic. The volume of business is not as high as before, but that seems to be a Europe-wide trend. Nonetheless, we are satisfied overall.”
Slezská Harmonia
Marie Pražáková, Company Owner
“We were satisfied with the attendance. There were a lot of businessmen and mothers. We are glad that we participated in the fair and we are already thinking about participating in the next edition. ”
Health Academy
Michal Valenta, Co-owner
“The fair was very successful, we are satisfied. On Thursday and Friday mornings, mostly retailers visited, while mothers came from Friday afternoon to Saturday. We had strong sales and made a lot of publicity.”
Sandra Pospíšilová (Parmová), TV Prima Host
“I’m at the ProDítě fair for the second time, and although my kids are a bit older now, at 3 and 6 years, there are many new things and clever gadgets that caught my attention. It’s a valuable experience for expectant parents who have already identified some strollers, car seats, or other accessories, as they can try them out here in person. It’s the best way to experience everything and make a decision.”
Tereza Fajksová, Model
“This year’s fair is quite varied; I especially appreciate the kids' play area. There are go-karts, a carousel, a bouncy castle, and balloons everywhere. My kids would be thrilled to be here. Currently, I’m looking for bottles and thermoses, but if my kids were younger, I would definitely pick out some toys for them.”
