Forestry and hunting presentation in Brno in April
March 4, 2024 / 2:10 PM
Agricultural and forestry fairs will take place in Brno from 7 to 11 April 2024. They will include the SILVA REGINA fair, which is a major Central European forestry and hunting show.
The main pillar of SILVA REGINA is forestry. Well–known brands of forestry equipment will be presented at this expo, such as John Deere, Komatsu, Vimek, LOGSET, K.T.S., HSP Gripen, HSP Bilke, Ponsse, Equus, Palax, Risutec, Terri, Trejon, Haas, Baltrotors, FARMA, Vahva Jussi, Tizmar, Maxilift, Bigab, Biojack, Naarva, Deitmer, Black Bruin, Stihl, EcoLog, LKT or REGON.
Forestry machinery
Visitors will find at SILVA REGINA most of the importers and manufacturers of forestry equipment operating on the Czech and Slovak markets. All sectors representing the complete range of products for forest work, especially for logging and timber harvesting, will be covered. Harvesters, loaders, forwarders, tractors including forestry extensions, winches and other equipment for timber harvesting, and chain and band saws will be on display. Exhibitors are also coming with machinery for primary wood processing, such as chippers or splitters. Universities and forestry–related institutions are also among the exhibitors. Municipal technology will also be represented at the stands of both SILVA REGINA and TECHAGRO. The trend towards digitalisation and robotisation is obvious across the sectors presented.
Hunting
Traditionally, the hunting part of the SILVA REGINA fair is primarily a sales fair; the basis of the range of products on offer are hunting supplies, clothing, footwear and everything for outdoor activities. The extra programme will take the form of performances on stage as well as standing exhibitions. The stage programme in Hall Z will alternate between forestry and hunting parts of the show. One of the most popular parts of the expo are the exhibitions of trophies and specimens. This year, too, there will be breeding trophy shows of trophies of district hunting societies from Brno and its surroundings, taxidermy, and a unique deer trophy awarded with 242 points will be on display.
