The exhibited works will captivate visitors with a variety of techniques – from classic patchwork to modern wall hangings and original at quilts.
"Visitors can look forward to more than 700 quilts by 200 artists from all over the world. Many collections and textile artworks have been created specifically for this exhibition and will be loaned to other exhibitions across Europe after their Brno premiere," said Jana Štěrbová, the curator of BPM. As part of the exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to take part in workshops led by reputed Czech and international lecturers. The courses are suitable for both beginners and advanced enthusiasts. In addition to various textile techniques, attendees can also try modern approaches to art quilting.
