Since 2001, she has been dedicated to quilting, with a strong focus on hand sewing and hand quilting. These meticulously crafted handmade quilts will be on display at Brno Patchwork Meeting 2025.
She has been teaching since 2003 and, in 2005, founded the Quilting Roses group. In 2010, she played a key role in establishing a hand-sewing group in Oldenburg. She organized and implemented QUIP Day at the Schlosshöfe Oldenburg shopping center (2010–2012) and in 2024 at the Famila Wechloy/Oldenburg center. Since 2015, she has been hosting annual quilting and sewing weekends in Cloppenburg-Stapelfeld.
She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including those in Bremen-Obervieland (2010, 2013, 2016) and Westerstede (2019). Her works have been accepted into the prestigious T-M competition in 2017, 2020, and 2023. In 2022, she received an award for outstanding hand quilting for her piece Water in Motion. In 2024, she will take part in the Festival of Quilts in the "Traditional Quilt" category.
That same year, she successfully completed teacher training at Patchwork Gilde Deutschland e.V., further expanding her expertise in quilting and hand sewing.
