Another charitable project during BPM was the initiative of the First Moravian Patchwork Club, whose members created handmade toys featuring animal motifs. On Sunday, Lenka Smetanová, a representative of the club, presented around 30 original toys to the Kociánka Center in Brno, which provides rehabilitation and educational services for children and adults with disabilities.

And that's not all. The club also handed over a sewn dragon — a symbol of the city of Brno — to the exhibition director, representing dozens of additional toys made for the children's prize room at the event Safety Day – Rescuers for Children, taking place at the Brno Exhibition Center on May 31.

The First Moravian Patchwork Club is an association of women of all ages, first introduced to the public through an exhibition of their works in Fulnek in 2004, and they have continued organizing exhibitions ever since.
"We have about 60 active members, and we regularly participate in charitable projects. We have sewn bedding for infant care homes, cushions for children's homes, and toys for a diagnostic institute," says Lenka Smetanová, describing the club's activities.
Their work was also praised by exhibition director Martin Škarka: "We are very happy that the First Moravian Patchwork Club created such original toys for the children, and I believe they will bring great joy. Thank you very much, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration both with the Bohemian Patchwork Club from Prague and the First Moravian Patchwork Club from Štramberk, supporting more charitable projects."
