Caravaning Brno starts - three full halls and four busy days

November 7, 2024  /  10:10 AM

The Brno Exhibition Centre has once again opened to all enthusiasts of life on four wheels. Three halls are open for you this year, this time it is P, F and now V. In the latter, you will find the Adventure and Travel zone and at the same time, the opening ceremony of the whole fair took place in this pavilion.

Caravanning was launched by Jan Kubata, General Director of BVV, together with Filip Chvátal, Deputy Mayor of Brno, Kristýna Černá, member of the Brno City Council and Jan Bordovský, who represents the Association of Camping and Caravanning. Visitors were also welcomed by the fair ambassadors Pepa Vrtal alias Fotr na tripu, Yvona Maléřová Krainová and Pavel Liška.

"Caravanning is again a bit bigger than it was last year, and I am very happy about that. Each hall has its own appeal, you will find exactly what you are looking for and what you are interested in. We are pleased that there are more than 200 exhibitors and we have managed to connect Caravaning with the Travel Zone. I wish everyone to enjoy their days at the Brno Exhibition Centre," said Jan Kubata.

"I have not experienced this way of travelling yet, but I am definitely going to do it, because I am a really passionate traveller," said Filip Chvátal, joined by Kristýna Černá, who both stressed that it is a great honour for Brno to host this fair.

"Last year I experienced a huge euphoria here when we managed to open the third pavilion and attract a completely new target group of visitors, and I thought to myself, this is the most we can do on our small Czech market. And it was not the maximum, we have the year 2024 and the fair is even bigger, I am very happy about it," Honza Bordovský enthusiastically thanked everyone, especially Simona Křečková, who gives the whole fair the right atmosphere.

Pepa Vrtal recalled the words of Jan Amos Comenius: "Travelling is a form of education, because when you travel, your horizons expand." He also enjoys coming to Caravaning because people of the same blood group meet here, such as Pavel Liška or Ivona Maléřová Krainová, who just last year bought her small caravan at Caravaning. "I'm here at the right time and the right place, as I'm turning 60, so I need a bit of comfort and home to travel," said Pavel Liška, who you can hear tomorrow when he will talk with Honza Révai about his journey in Papua New Guinea.
