Misan: Systems for metal additive technologies and CNC machine tools
April 14, 2025 / 7:51 AM
Misan provides comprehensive manufacturing solutions. They implement and support CNC machine tools and metal additive technologies in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Systems for industrial metal 3D printing
At IDET, they will mainly present additive technologies – systems for industrial metal 3D printing from Colibrium Additive. The Mlab powder bed laser system will be operational on display at the booth. This system can process steel, aluminum, titanium and cobalt-chromium alloys and other metal materials.
These systems are generally used for production of complex geometries. They can be used to produce aerospace and medical parts. They can also be used for the production of defense system parts or obsolete parts for which molds and tools no longer exist. Other applications include parts with cavities or cooling channels, or sandwich structures with grids and meshes.
Misan also offers electron beam systems that can produce fatigue parts operating at high temperatures, such as jet engine blades. Another advantage of electron systems is the much smaller need for support structures (if any) compared to laser machines.
Misan booth will also feature various components closely or remotely related to the defense and security sector, such as aircraft engine blades, rocket nozzles, firearm silencers, compensators and more.
At their booth, it will also be possible to talk about CNC machining in addition to additive technologies.
