psl® wire race bearings
A special category is the very compact and lightweight psl® wire race bearings, which have a compact design and high resistance to impact and dynamic stresses. Unlike conventional bearings, which rely on solid bearing ring surfaces while rotating, wire race bearings use balls or rollers that move along a precisely defined circular path, formed by specially designed hard-material compound wires embedded in a lighter material.
