The Czech National Exposition, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Hall P, brings together a unique range of services provided by 13 state institutions. The gala opening of the Czech National Exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, also launched the 65th International Industrial Fair.
13 entities, headed by the Ministries of Industry and Trade, Defence and Foreign Affairs, offer them a helping hand in Hall P of the Brno Exhibition Centre. There are also key agencies CzechInvest and CzechTrade, and financial institutions such as Czech Export Bank and EGAP. The common goal is to offer companies in one place new contacts, information and technology demonstrations, as well as the possibility of professional consultations for the development of their business.
The Czech National Exposition at MSV 2024 was opened by a speech by David Müller, Chief Director of the EU and Foreign Trade Section at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. "MSV is our diamond, what we can show, where we can meet foreign partners and what we can offer to the world," said David Müller and recalled two mottos of this year's exposition. The first is the participation of 13 institutions that guide Czech companies through the entire business cycle from the first idea to global markets. The second motto is 20 years since the Czech Republic joined the EU and the EU internal market, which is crucial and irreplaceable for Czech companies.
The second speaker was the Governor of the South Moravian Region, Jan Grolich, who appreciated that this large and important trade fair is being held in Brno.
His words were followed by the Deputy Mayor of the Statutory City of Brno, Filip Chvátal, who thanked BVV Trade Fairs Brno for the organisation of MSV and appreciated that the participation of exhibiting companies has grown.
In his speech, the Director of the Department of Economic and Scientific Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tomáš Kuchta, pointed out that his Ministry is traditionally an important part not only of the Czech National Exposition, but also of the whole system of export support and internationalisation of Czech companies. "We have more than 90 employees in the world who specialise in helping Czech companies penetrate global markets," he stressed, adding that they are available to companies at various locations, including MSV.
Jan Kubata, CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno, was the last to speak. First of all, he thanked for all the complimentary remarks of his speakers and appreciated the great work not only of his team, but also of all the institutions that participated in the preparation of the Czech National Exposition. He thanked the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the organisation of the exposition and also appreciated the close cooperation with the South Moravian Region and the Statutory City of Brno as the owner of the company BVV Trade Fairs Brno. "Without this support, it would hardly be possible to keep MSV in such high quality for 65 years. It is the longest serving and functioning engineering event not only in Central Europe, but also in the whole of Europe," emphasised Jan Kubata.
