For more than fifty years, Pöppelmann KAPSTO® has continuously expanded its standard parts programme to include more than 3,000 different plastic caps and plugs, which are supplied directly from stock. In addition to the extensive standard programme, the engineers and technicians at Pöppelmann KAPSTO® also develop individual protection solutions in close cooperation with customers, including thermoformed trays developed to meet customer requirements. The KAPSTO® protection solution programme from Pöppelmann offers optimum protection during production, storage and transport. With over 3,000 dimensions and designs, the standard programme includes robust, abrasion-resistant, temperature-resistant and sealing solutions. The products include

• Caps for external protection: including protective caps, grip caps, screw caps and flange caps
• Plugs for internal protection: including protective plugs, grip plugs, screw plugs and flange covers
• Customised protective elements: from development to series production
• Thermoformed trays to protect sensitive components

75 years of innovation and sustainability

In 2024, Pöppelmann GmbH & Co. KG celebrates its 75th anniversary. For years, the company has attached great importance to protecting natural resources and the climate. The standard programme has therefore been expanded to include protective elements made from postconsumer recyclate, which contribute to reducing resource consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 45%. These fully recyclable items have been awarded the Blue Angel eco-label.

Expansion of e-mobility solutions

With the shift towards electromobility, Pöppelmann KAPSTO® developed special protection solutions for electric vehicle components at an early stage. The company's many years of experience in the automotive industry are used to fulfil the specific requirements of e-mobility.
