A gala evening in the spirit of fashion and young talents

Friday's gala evening was in the spirit of beautiful models and more than an hour of fashion shows, starting with selected collections of exhibiting companies, through competition models of young talents to original collections of leading Czech designers. The evening was hosted by Iveta Lutovská, and the guests were greeted by Brno City Councillor Kateřina Jarošová, chairwoman of the jury of the Young Top Styl Designer competition Klára Nademlýnská and the CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno Jan Kubata.
In the opening show, visitors could admire a total of 24 models, each of the presenting companies selected the 2 most representative pieces from the day's shows. Then came the parade of the finalists of the Young Textile Designers Competition, in which the ten best models from each category were presented on the catwalk. Afterwards, the winners were announced - in Free Creation it was Anna Zavoralová with her model Capsule /Easy and in the Street Style category Michaela Petrusová won with her model Before start. The moderator thanked the main partner of the competition, the Statutory City of Brno, the First Lady Eva Pavlova for the patronage of the project, and the textile association ATOK for supporting the competition.
The final part of the programme included author shows by Debbie Brown, Iveta Řádková, Luděk Šmehlík and Klára Nademlýnská.
