URBIS 

The Smart Cities theme is becoming increasingly important for the development of Czech cities, municipalities, and regions. The challenges we face today require innovative solutions that bring sustainable growth, prosperity, and a higher quality of life. International experience shows that success lies in cross-sector and cross-level cooperation, born from regular meetings and the sharing of best practices.

That is why the URBIS 2026 fair and conference will focus both on the visions of large cities and on the specific challenges faced by smaller municipalities. It will offer them inspiration as well as practical support – from demonstrations of proven approaches to concrete guidelines and advice applicable in everyday operations. Participants will learn from good practice examples, discover how to implement innovations even with limited resources, and have the opportunity to share their own experiences. The goal of URBIS 2026 is to show that there are innovative solutions for municipalities of all sizes that seek more efficient and sustainable development paths.

URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup in 2025 was prepared in cooperation with several ministries and around ten other institutions. The exhibition took place in halls A1 and A2, while the main conference program was held in the Rotunda.
