Bernina Brazilian Ambassador in love with Art Quilt, quilting, crazy about colors and different shapes.
I’ve been doing patchwork since 1999 and I’m an eternal apprentice in the Art of joining fabrics and people.

Collage, painting, quilting, improvised background, couching, felting and movement work these are my great passions.

I love to teach. In my opinion Art Quilt is the most efficient and happiest therapy in the world.
Since 2020 I have dedicated myself to curating Art Quilt, where I show that plurality is necessary. Teachers and students doing the same theme, showing various forms and levels of execution. It has been a very pleasant and collective work.

Brazil is more than a land of football and Carnival. We brought together 18 Brazilian Quilters to exemplify how continental and plural our country is. With various techniques and artists from different places, we are presenting a Brazil full of bossa, colors and unforgettable places, rich in diversity and with a very present artistic textile force.

The concept of Brazilianness is based on aspects of national culture, both those linked to nature and life in large centers, and its source of inspiration is work with shapes, textures, referring both to our rich fauna & flora and the antithesis of our large metropolises.
